Welcome to the web site of Dr. Lynda Hardin-Poston, Holistic Health Practitioner. Dr. Lynda is not a medical doctor and holds no medical degree. She is a Holistic Health Practitioner trained in the art of natural and nutritional wellness. She can not diagnose, prescribe, or treat any health problem, however, she can teach you how to address the issues yourself in natural, safe, inexpensive and non-invasive ways. You become an active participant in addressing your health issues. Working with Dr. Lynda, you are in charge, she simply guides you on your path to wellness.
Dr. Lynda has formed a group of entities which are designed to lead you to wellness rather than sickness. Dr. Lynda is in the profession of "wellness," your doctor is in the business of "sickness." The difference? Dr. Lynda looks for the "root" cause of your problem, then teaches you how to address the problem naturally without drugs and side effects they illicit.
Your doctor treats the symptoms, not the cause, therefore, you must continue to take drugs to control the symptoms. Until the "root" cause it addressed, the likelihood you will be free of the malady is rather remote.
Herein you will find links to the other entities which make up the entire network which Dr. Lynda calls ELAN Wellness Network.

ELAN Wellness Network
There are several entities in the ELAN Wellness Network, this is the site for Dr. Lynda Hardin-Poston, founder and owner of the Network. To access other entities in the ELAN Wellness Network, you may click HERE for links; or use the Network Entities button in the menu to the left right under Dr. Lynda's picture.
Lithium For Brain Health
Lithium is best known for its use in mental institutions for treatment of bipolar disorder. It has many more clinical uses than just for mental illness, but at much lower and safer doses. Lithium is most definitely an underused mineral. Lithium is not a drug but a mineral in the sodium and potassium family, safe when taken correctly but can be toxic if too much is used.
